The Power of One (Singles Ministry) The New Life Covenant Church Singles Ministry is a dichotomy of differences and similarities. The NLC Singles Ministry comes together as one solely to be ambassadors of spreading the gospel of Christ.

We submit our gifts, our talent and our time to the upbuilding of God’s Kingdom, which in turn provides us many different developmental growth opportunities. We embrace the word of God which emphasizes that we are “one body” with many members of different functions (Romans 12:4). The NLC Singles Ministry has become a dynamic force of power within the church because our concerns are focused not on procuring husbands and wives but we focus our concerns on the things of God (1 Corinthians 7:32-35).

The NLC Singles Ministry cultivates an intimate relationship with God alone. This incredibly powerful relationship equips and encourages us to spend time ministering to others about Christ. We obtain unparalleled power from the only supreme, mighty and sovereign God, Who is the most powerful above all. Hence, “The Power of One.” Our primary goal is to enrich the unmarried person through various spiritual and social events. Our mission is to teach singles how to live successful spiritual lives as it relates to their season of singleness.

Additionally, we teach dating principles and provide preparation for marriage (if desired) according to the word of God all while keeping the mission of NLC’s “worship, outreach, discipleship and servanthood” at our core.
