Purpose:
To welcome all new members in Christ and those that wish to join the New Life Covenant Family. To provide a foundational understanding of our beliefs as a church and God’s specific calling to each member in this ministry.
Our Methods:
Welcome after Invitation to Jesus as Lord/NLC Membership –The New Members Team partners with the Pastors, Ministers and Intercessors to welcome all new converts to Christ as well as anyone desiring the covering and spiritual nourishment that comes with membership at New Life Covenant. We will pray with you, get connected by gathering some basic information and then encourage you to become an active member of His kingdom work.
8 Week Class -The New Membership course objectives are to teach the purpose of the church, our mission, vision, spiritual gifts and ministry, to all who wish to become members of New Life Covenant. Furthermore, this dynamic and life changing course will enable new members to establish and develop a closer relationship with God and other believers. It will also introduce each member to the ministries in the body where they can put their faith into action.
Graduation – To celebrate the completion of the class, a graduation is held during our 1pm worship service to acknowledge the diligence and new knowledge base that each new member now possesses. Each graduate receives a certificate of completion and a keepsake.
