LS2S Mission Statement
Love Sister to Sister (LS2S) is the dynamic women’s ministry of NLC where we embrace, love, and support all women at every stage of their spiritual growth; by encouraging encounters with God, providing opportunity for fellowship, and developing powerful women of character, in alignment with the vision of New Life Covenant Oakwood Church. ~ James 1:4

Get to know the Committees
Retreat

• Experience a withdrawal from ordinary daily living to nourish your inner spiritual longings.
   
• At the Encounter retreat you will encounter a newness with God.
   
• At the Discovery retreat, you will discover your spiritual gifts and receive tools to utilize your gifts.
   
• Victory is a higher spiritual experience in God. Come and find out how victorious you truly are!

Social
LS2S reach out and empower other women through social and outreach events. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them. ~ Matthew 18:20

Publicity
Publicity communicates LS2S events through different mediums. (Flyers, announcements, emails, etc…). My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. ~ Psalm 45:1

Greeters
Usher the women into fellowship with a smile from the moment they step in the door. I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the LORD. ~ Psalms 122:1

Media
Show how good God has been to us by capturing LS2S moments and creating presentations. Come taste and see that the Lord is good. ~ Psalms 34:8

Drama
Expresses the Word and the lessons given through dramatization. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. ~ Psalm 34:2

Kidz Zone (NLC will need to conduct a background check) 
Children learn at their own level. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. ~ Proverbs 22:6

Special Operations (set-up)
Special Operations creates a comfortable environment for the women to sit and fellowship in. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. ~ Psalms 100:2

Welcome 
Receives and greet you into fellowship and into LS2S ministry. So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. ~ Philemon 1:17

Prayer
Saturate the atmosphere with prayer and praise. And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and believing, you will receive. ~ Matthew 21: 22

Sound
This committee ensures we have the equipment to get the message across. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ~ Revelation 3:13
